Hunter’s Point - Copper Harbor, Michigan
Dagger-like, Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula stabs deep into the core of Lake Superior. At the tip of this dagger you’ll find Copper Harbor — farther from Detroit than Washington, DC — a once-important harbor in the region’s vital copper industry, where countless tons of copper was shipped across the Great Lakes and into the wider world beyond.
Hunter’s Point lies on a spit of land that helps to enclose Copper Harbor. Along its rock-lined shores you can view the splendor of Lake Superior, watch the northern lights dance far above, or take in the sounds of songbirds, woodpeckers, and others as they prepare to fly over the Big Lake.
Photographs will be printed on Hahnemuhle Silk Baryta fine art photographic paper. I will personally review, sign, and number each print sold. The photographs will be delicately rolled into a rigid tube and mailed for your pleasure. Each photograph will include a small border to help with matting and framing once it arrives at your door.
Photographs will be limited to a run of 100 prints each (inclusive of all sizes), after which no more prints will be created.
I am currently only offering rolled prints, but if you are interested in receiving your artwork in another medium - acrylic, aluminum, etc. - please contact me to discuss the available options.
