Manido Falls, Michigan 1
In the lesser-traveled western edge of Porcupine Mountain State Park, in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula, the Presque Isle River flows through miles of old growth forest, over slabs of ancient rock, before finally reaching Lake Superior. Along the way the river goes over a number of falls - with Manido Falls being among the most easily accessible.
